WORSHIP AT KILLERMONT

Many people think that the church is just for members only.  How wrong can you be!  At Killermont you are welcome no matter what your denomination and if you have no church connections whatsoever, or have never even been in a church, well here we are!

Worship of the living God - our God - is at the heart of our congregational life. We believe that there is no substitute for coming together to praise God, to pray as one to Him and to listen to His Word.

Our worship

10.00am each Sunday.

Services of Holy Communion, which generally take place on the second Sunday in September, the first Sunday in Advent and the first Sunday in Lent are held at 10.00am and 11.45am.  However, Communion is also celebrated on other key dates in the Christian calendar as part of the ‘normal’ service.

Additional services will be held at other times and can take a variety of forms including ‘all age worship’ where music is provided by the Praise Band.

The Sanctuary is normally open on Wednesdays from 12.00 noon until 4.30pm for anyone who wishes to experience the peace and quiet.  It could be a time for personal prayer or reflection.

Please refer to the current ‘Order of Service’ which will give information on the service for the forthcoming week.

Our children

We encourage children of all ages to worship.

Sunday Club (for age groups: 3-4; 5-7; 8-11 and 12-14) begins in the halls at 10.00am and the children come into the Church later in the service.

We also have a crèche for the under-3's.

Our fellowship

At the close of worship, we move to our Main Hall for tea, coffee, juice and biscuits. Please join us - both adults and children.
